Terms and Conditions

At our holiday villa, we cherish tranquility and a peaceful atmosphere. While we want you to have a wonderful time, please note that our villa is NOT suitable for big parties, loud music, or excessive noise. We strive to maintain a serene environment for our neighbors and other guests.

1. Booking confirmation is subject to availability and receipt of the required deposit.

2. A deposit of  50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.

3.  The remaining balance must be settled prior to the check out.

4. Cancellation Policy:In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable as we allocate resources and decline other reservations for the dates you have booked.

5. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is 2pm  and check-out time is 10am . Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional charges.

6. Occupancy: The maximum occupancy of the villa is 6 guests. Additional guests may be permitted upon prior approval and may incur additional charges.

7. Damages and Losses: Guests are responsible for any damages or losses incurred during their stay and will be charged accordingly.

8. Conduct:Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and to adhere to any rules or regulations set forth by Hindagala Retreat. Failure to do so may result in eviction without refund.

9. Liability:Hindagala Retreat is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

10. Pets are not allowed on the premises unless prior arrangements have been made and additional charges may apply.

11. Insurance: We recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.

12. Valuables and Liability: Guests are advised not to bring valuable items to Hindagala Retreat and to ensure the security of any personal belongings. Management is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal property during their stay.

13.Supervision of Children: For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times during their stay at Hindagala Retreat. There are areas within the villa where there are steep drops and balconies, which may pose a risk to unsupervised children. The villa management emphasizes that it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure the constant supervision of children. Hindagala Retreat shall not be held liable for any accidents or incidents resulting from unsupervised children.

14. Kitchen Use: If you have booked the entire villa, you are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare meals for yourself. However, if you have only booked a room, meals can be arranged by the chef upon request. You may also provide the chef with the necessary ingredients and ask him to prepare the meals for you.  Click here for Meal charges

15. Free Internet and Cable TV – The internet is free, and the speed is good. However, if you use excessive data, the speed will automatically reduce. In that case, we will need to add extra data. We recommend using a maximum of 20GB per day. If additional data is required, you may need to pay for it. We will inform you and obtain your consent before adding extra data.

16. Laundry Service–  We offer laundry services at a charge of Rs. 600 per wash. If you require laundry services, please ask the caretaker.

17. Wall Pictures.  We have beautiful paintings and pictures in the rooms and living area. If you want to remove any pictures, please ask the caretaker to do it. Do not remove them yourself. Please adhere to this rule strictly.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:Hindagala Retreat reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

By making a reservation with Hindagala Retreat, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
